♥My fondest memories as a child are those barefoot summers at the Cape. For three generations my family has vacationed at the family summer home there. I lost my great grandmother last year but at the summer house I feel her presents its a warm comfy feeling surrounded by memories, love and family. 

A vivid memory of summer at the Cape was that of one of my first crushes unfortunately I was a little too young to get to have any real romance since I was seven years old and he was sixteen lol. I’m sure he never knew I thought he was as cute as that blond boy on the Barney show (btw whatever happened to him they changed the kids so much, & those two sister with the dark hair I wonder what they’re doing now and what became of them also)..snickering as I write this. Ummm, I guess I just gave away about how old I am. Oh, boy I digress. Anyways, summer has always been a very special fun time, a time to relax, get tan, shop, dream, boating, playing in the sea, collecting sea glass one my very favorite collections,listening to oldies on the beach (thats when those “NOW” hits were in single digits :P), bonfires, toasting marshmallows,watching the boys watching me. My brothers are always there like guard dogs protecting me and extinguishing any flirting (darn it!!) Lovely lovely memories and I can’t wait for this summer’s memory I hope it includes finding that someone special.♥
